What's the custom process like ?
first , clients show their mock up or tech pack or product parameters of different styles of clothes, as a supplier, we can talk the details and confirm something,such as the sample cost and sample turnaround time,if you are ready, then you can pay for the samples
second, sales person will sort out all information about your order and print it by paper and give it to purchasing manager,
third,purchasing manager will buy the related fabric or accessories for your order,the fabric for samples are not always can be bought on that day, sometimes they are not in the stock,or it needs to be customized,or not easy to find it, at this moment,we have to wait two or three days or more days.
forth,when the fabric for samples came back to our factory,the pattern designer will design the pattern according to your paper order and fabric,
After finishing the design for the pattern,pattern designer will print the pattern on the paper,then cutting down the paper for your samples,with the fabric together,at this moment, pattern maker will read the paper order and cut the fabric which is bought from the market,and put the paper order and cut-parts together,strapping them to avoid missing.
fifth,the merchandiser gives the paper order with the cut-parts to craft factories, cooperating with different craft factories,like printing factories,embroidery factories,rhinestone factories,button and zipper factories(some clients insist in customizing buttons or zippers),the merchandiser(he or she must be professional about different kinds of crafts and understand the requirements on the paper order,and tell or remind or confirm the details with these factories,in order to no mistake.so these factories need time to make these craft,they always should confirm the size of different crafts with clients,it will spend at least two or four days to finish them,then they will take the fabric with craft back to our factory.
sixth,the pattern maker reads the paper order again and does the important part--sewing all cut-parts together. If the sample is easy to sew,like t-shirt,he or she will spend two or three hours to finish,at last,the complete sample is finished and can be showed to clients. In addition,your samples need acid wash,stone wash,or other washes,it will have additional steps to finish the samples.so making a sample is not easy,we need a team to finish this job.
